Welcome to
New Haven, Connecticut. This is a played-by game that centers around the lives, careers, and relationships of its residents. New Haven is the second largest city in Connecticut and is home to one of the finest Ivy League schools; Yale. It is also home to Southern Connecticut State University, Connecticut State University, Albertus Magnus College, and Gateway Community College.
New Haven is well known for its harbor and it's rock traps, aptly named West Rock and East Rock, which serve as large park areas for the city to enjoy. There are approximately 40
neighborhoods that make up the larger New Haven area. It also features 95 Zagat rated restaurants out of 120 restaurants throughout the area. Restaurant cuisine choices include: Malaysian, Ethiopian, Spanish, French, Greek, Latin, Mexican, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, Jamaican, Cuban, Peruvian, Syrian/Lebanese, and Turkish.
There are a variety of museums and theaters throughout the city to help the residents enjoy the culture that the city has to offer. The New Haven Register and New Haven Advocate are the two local papers that serve the city. There are two major medical centers in town; The Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of Saint Raphael, as well as several smaller ones; Temple Medical Center, Connecticut Mental Health Center, and Hill Health Center.
